# SkyRate full reference

SkyRate is a free chargeable-weight and quote-readiness tool provided by EASCargo. It uses a preliminary volumetric formula of length × width × height × pieces ÷ 6000, with centimetres and kilograms. The higher of gross and volumetric weight is shown as preliminary chargeable weight.

The result is not a live freight rate. Aircraft acceptance, cargo-door limits, pallet position, floor loading, transfer sectors, fuel/security charges, special handling, customs and Africa final delivery are confirmed separately by EASCargo and the relevant service providers.
